Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.


Author Guidelines

REGISTRATION (Deadline 9 June 2017)

Registration for WATS17 is open from 1 March 2017 until 9 June 2017. There is no registration fee.

To register, follow these steps:

  1. Go to this link.
  2. Complete the registration Details.
  3. If you are planning to give a talk at the conference, you must select "Author" in "Create account as". Otherwise, select "Reader".


ABSTRACT SUBMISSION (Deadline: 9 June 2017)

Conference participants are encouraged to present a 20-minute talk (including discussion) at the workshop.

Participants willing to present a talk must send a short abstract following this template. You must also download the style file and the logo of the conference.

The abstract must include:

  1. Title.
  2. Author's names.
  3. Full addressess of authors including e-mail.
  4. Keywords (no more than 5).
  5. Mathematics Subject Classification (no more than 4).
  6. Acknowledgements.
  7. References (in alphabeticcal order).

The length of the abstract cannot be more than one page.

The source tex file of the abstract as well as the pdf file must be submitted by means of this platform.

Authors will be informed about abstract acceptance before 16 June 2017.

You must register at the conference before submitting your abstract. If you are already registered click here to login and start the submission process.

Then select "New Submission".

Now, you must follow these steps:

  1. Step 1. Check out the submission checklist and the copyright agreement.
  2. Step 2. Enter names, affiliation and e-mail of all authors. Include the title of your talk and leave a blanck space in the Abstract area (don't copy your abstract here).
  3. Step 3. Upload the tex and pdf files of your abstract following the template of the conference.
  4. Step 4. Confirm your submission.

Your abstract will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee of WATS'17. You will be informed when a decision is adopted.


FULL PAPER SUBMISSION (Deadline: 23 June 2017)

Authors of accepted abstracts have the opportunity of publishing a full paper of his talk in the conference proceedings (up to 8 pages). Final acceptance is subject to a review process.

Full papers must follow the Conference template. You must also locate the style file in the same directory.

Once your abstract has been accepted, in order to submit the full paper you have to login at the platform.

Then click on “1 Active” and then click in “Awaiting upload”.

Now follow these steps:

  • Step 3. Upload the tex file of your full paper following the conference template.
  • Step 4. Upload as suplementary file the pdf file of your full paper.
  • Step 5. Confirm your submission

At due time, you will be informed about the acceptance of your paper.



Submission Preparation Checklist

  1. Abstract occupies no more than one page.
  2. Abstract must be written in LaTeX not containing personal macros and following the abstract template (download also the style file and the logo of the Workshop)
  3. Abstract includes keywords and Mathematics Subject Classification.
  4. Abstract includes postal address and e-mails of authors.
  5. References are listed in alphabetical order.
  6. Authors of accepted full papers will be required to sign a transfer of rights in order to publish the conference proceedings (a book with ISBN)

Authors who submit to this conference agree to the following terms:
a) Authors retain copyright over their work, while allowing the conference to place this unpublished work under a Creative Commons Attribution License, which allows others to freely access, use, and share the work, with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and its initial presentation at this conference.
b) Authors are able to waive the terms of the CC license and enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution and subsequent publication of this work (e.g., publish a revised version in a journal, post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial presentation at this conference.
